Hey guys,
i'm currently trying to render out a scene in which i would like to have control over the direct irradiance as well as the raw shadows in comp. I found tutorials focusing on MR where they say that the equation in post is as follows: DirectIrradiance = DirectIrradianceNoShadow - RawShadow
Here is the tutorial i refer to: http://www.pixelcg.com/blog/?p=981
This makes sense to me and in MR this works pretty well, but i cant seem to find a renderelemnt in Vray for maya that spits out the Direct irradiance seperate from the raw shadow (raw shadow alone is no problem though). Any ideas how i could get a renderelement like DirectIrradianceNoShadow , or would i generate such an element as a post operation with the rawshadow ?
