I've read through a few posts, and I'm trying to find out how I can get smooth results with the stiching tools in may, particularly on a car corner panel. Now, I tried several things, including manual positional tangency first and then trying to use the stitch tool for tangency... My biggest prob seems to be trying to get proper parameterization betwixt the two surfaces.. I do finally end up with a stictched model, but the isoparms do no flow perpedicular to the stitch(desirable.. is this necessary?) And of course even with the most advanced tessellation options cranked up (i think it is anyways) i still have gaps !!!! sorry there's no image.... thanks for any advice... one other question Would I get better results using 7 degree curves... I really thinks this would complicate everything... but i am curious. thanks

are you making your surfaces uniform before stitching???
after you do so delete the history on them before using the stitch tool.

that should really help from what i can take from what you said.

good luck

thanks for the reply..

well I do rebuild using uniform, but i still have I beleive what is called "artifacting" once it is stiched... I think it may be to complex... I'm just going to simplify and restart. Thanks again.
