View Full Version : 3ds max wizard + Visual Studio 2010 Express

Hi!
I have a problem with to get the wizard work. I have done all the steps of the read me file, but when I will make a new project in Visual Studio I have the choice to make a wizard file, but when I click on the wizard file, there comes an error message, that the project cannot be built. Can anyone help me? Would be nice :)

Which SDK version are you using? I believe that VisualStudio 2010 was officially supported only with 3dsMax 2012.

I have 3ds Max 2011 and with the Visual Studio 2010 Express and the Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate, i got the same error, but in the SDK Documentation Visual Studio 2010 is recommended. :(

Ok, so what is the error message? Are there any clues in there on what could be going wrong?

Now it works, but everytime I want to debug / build I get the following message: debugging information for '3dsmax.exe' cannot be found or does not match
Does anybody know what to do?
