View Full Version : still life: Apple Critique
FistOfGod 11-19-2003, 01:30 PM Lately I have been interested in painting so I thought I would start spending more time on the subject. I decided to start with something simple. This is about 4 hrs of work and I would appreciate any comments any of you might have. It was done in photoshop. When I get my next paycheck I am probably going to get some actaul paints for the fun of it. Thanks! :)

very nice dude! you spent a lot of time texturing that bad boy. the only thing really hurting it is the backround, putting something so detailed and complex on top of plain white pretty much destroys it. work on that and smooth the apples edges a bt and you got a winner!

Nice work. I'd like to see the shadow line on the cloth follow the apple's path though. Less line shadow on the left more on the right side.
