Hey Everyone,

So I have a question for Adobe After Effects. I need to remove a big mat that a character falls onto in an action sequence of one of my videos. How do I remove the mat from the scene and still make it look like he hit the ground? It is a moving camera, so I have no background plate.
If needed I can redo the shot on a tripod so I can get a background plate.

Thanks for the help,
-Ben

Hello! You can get one stillframe to Photoshop and retouch it, draw missing background. Then track your sequence, put frame there and matchmove. Then draw mask around falling man and place layer with him on top. Thats all. If you shoot with tripod all that can be made much more easier. Then you can add camera shake in postproduction.
