My avatar is 50 x50 pix and weighing in at 4kb.
Still won't upload.

Used image from URL off of my website. No Avail.

What am I doing wrong?

Probably, didn't read the FAQs where it says post count greater than 2 is required for avatar upload. But it looks like you're fixed now.
