View Full Version : 2 previously finished pieces
dgpilot 06-11-2002, 05:01 PM Hey everyone. Since I'm new here, and this is my first post, I thought I would show some of my previous work.
The hall image is the most recent (1 month ago), the little tower is about 6 months old.
There is a lot of talent on this board, it's great to be here!

i like them :)
the second picture( older) is not as good as the first ( the rock...)but the design is beautifull.
the light and composition of the first is great.

Thanks!
Forgot to mention that, I used 3dsmax 4.2 for both of them, and both were personal projects for my portfolio.

absolutely brilliant man! 1st image is very realistic. If what I am seeing here is the best of what you could make at that period, that i got one thing to say: WOW, i have to say, in a 5 month period you seem to have improved vastly. Great, keep it goin'!

Thanks, I actually started 3d last august, which probably shows the improvement. I'm hoping to get better at animation though, which I royally suck at right now

i like the glow on the highlights. did you touch up by photoshop to make that fx?
dgpilot
06-14-2002, 06:12 PM
yes, most of the glows after post production with Photoshop, it's an extremely easy process that takes no longer than 10 minutes on a full size job. I'm currently working on some tutorials for scenery design, which include post-production touch ups

Just please tell me what program you are using to create the sunning web Sites

My website? It couldn't be any easier (to make the site that is)
All the pages on there are just image maps. The images themselves were modified with photoshop, then mapped out the links with Adobe ImageReady.
