CGTalk - Annoying thing

When i use the "slice" thingy for the editable mesh, it adds alot more vertices. Is it possible to deactivate this function because its really annoying.

It isn't a function, it's a "bug". Convert to editable poly, slice works a lot better

Or use the Slice modifier instead then collapse back down, the Slice mod ignores invisible edges.
