Looking for experienced render wranglers for visual effects company in the Los Angeles area working on a photo-real motion picture.
RENDER WRANGLER
A render wrangler monitors user render requests and computer resources, adjusting priorities and resubmitting jobs as necessary to ensure timely completion.
Essential Skills:
Windows, Unix/Linux experience
Ability to work well and solve problems under pressure
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of 2D & 3D applications
Knowledge of the rendering process. Preferably Pixar Prman
Familiarity with basic networking technologies.
Competent at scripting
Our current production level requires extended hours of operation. As
a member of the render wrangling team you will have interaction with
the systems support team and users in the facility. This position may
include night shift and weekend work.
All positions are in-house at a studio in the San Fernando Valley. No remote work. Immediate openings for artists to work on a feature until April 2004.
