View Full Version : exporting many paint layers as one?

Say I have alot of paint layers in my diffuse channel and i want to export a collapsed version out with a specified name. Is this possible?

I am aware of the "export paint layers" but this exports all the paint layers separately. Is there a way mudbox will collapse behind the scenes all the channels and export them?

at the moment i am merging visible and exporting it and then undoing the merge but this is a pain.

any suggestions please? :)

there is a feature for exporting all layers into one PSD file...
righklick onto one layer --> export channel as PSD

or set the export settings for fbx to collapse paint layer in the prefs and save your file as fbx...
