That's pretty neat.
Be sure to add some webshooters though, Spidey doesn't shoot web from his veins (or wrists) you know. :curious:
I'd also make the webbing more thick and bundled.

Heh, cool, though inexplicably shirtless. :argh: :)

Only thing I'd say is that there seems to be too much of a pattern to the bit on the wall, should randomize that a bit or have it continue farther out if you do more.

And not to bring that raging debate here, but in the movie he -does- shoot webs from his wrists, they're entirely 'built in'. I thought personally that worked better than him miraculously inventing artificial spider silk, etc. and it kinda cut to the chase.

Of course for total realism he'd be swinging around from his butt, but wtf. :D

Oh man, I'm getting al the more citical on the movie. I haven't seen it yet though.
From what I've heard, they changed the Green Goblin
From what I've seen in the clips, Mary Jane drops down the bridge and not Gwen Stacy(she died, was a major event in the spidey series).
I think I'm in for a dissapointment....

So you think growing an entire new organ is logical. The invention wasn't miraculous.

I don't want to start another raging discussion too, so I'll stop here.
I'm just a die hard Spidey Comic fan.

Joril: I am a big Spidey fan too. He was my fav, but I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. The whole wrist thing didn't bother me at all. The Goblin, not at all. It made since the movie and the movie did what it needed to do most of all....Stay true to the person that is Peter Parker/Spiderman and his lifestyle. The very end of the movie was sort of a bummer for me, but I liked it as a whole...alot.

I hope you enjoy it too. I suggest you let go of any expectancies for a precise recreation of the comic book (how would they possibly do that and make a 2 hour story) and sit down with some popcorn, a coke, and enjoy watching what it must be like to become spiderman. Best of luck!

Spiderman has always been my favorite superhero. You must understand that filmaking is a different media that comics. What works in a comic book might not necesarily work on film. in case of the web shooters the "mechanical" web shooters didn't work on film and I must say that I like the "organic" ones better. Besides, we are talking about a genetically enhanced man from a spider bite! Talk about logical!!!

Hehehe, just to poke in the fire a bit; so according to Joril it's fully OK that a spiderbite gives a guy the ability to climb walls and have a sixth sense but...WAIT...it's not logical to shoot webs outta your arm. Better have the guy invent something in his bedroom that any glue corporation would kill to have ;)

Nah, I liked the film verson better :)

And that clip is cool :D
I'm just wondering why the net suddenly disappears in the end.

Don't grind my polygons, Wiro.
I've been putting my money into Marvel comics most of my life and I think I'm entitled to have my own opinion.
For me, Spidey shooting web from his wrists just isn't logical. And It's such a care free solution. (And of course, no-one ever sees the little holes in his wrists. How magical.)

I'm sorry, I'm getting very irritated by this discussion.

No need to get irritated, it's an enjoyable movie wether he shoots 'em out of a gland or not. Watch it, you probably won't be disappointed. I got a friend who's a total spidey fan (and didn't mind the webthing either by the way) and he loved the movie.

Now put away that axe ;)

*Joril puts away the axe*

Watch it,
I will.
you probably won't be disappointed.
I hope so.

Should there be things that really bother me from the movie, I'll let you know.

Cool effect Modus. Joril, if your a Spidey fan you will definately love the movie. I think you may change your mind about the organic web-shooters when you see how well Raimi fit it into the evolution of Parker into Spiderman. It flows a helluva lot better in the film, the whole invention thing would have been an uneccessary detail, besides in the action sequences it doesnt really matter. By the way, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? GO SEE IT!!!!

I believe that Peter's dad was inventing the substance used for the webbing but never finished it, Peter just finished it....then got bit by a...did i say 'A'? I meant THE spider. :) Then developed the somewhat simple shooters. In the comics he was a MUCH more accomplished science whiz then in the movie.......

i liked the movie but when i watch i simply leave all my knowledge about spidey at the door.......

Oh and i really liked how the webbing just dissappeared at the end lol

Hey, that's right, if things our friendly neighborhood spiderman were really "anatomically altered" to be more spidery "web-wise" than wouldn't he be...uh.... spraying the webs from some... OTHER part of his body?

No don't listen to that Joril. Wait to see it in the theater, no bootleg is worth ruining experiencing the movie on the big screen for the first time. Enjoy, and let us know what you think.

not only does spidey have web shooters but he has to grab the web as it comes out so it won't detach.

neat though
