So I'm trying to swap a bone on a skinned geo. I finally decided to do it the .envAscii file route but....
Is there no better way to set bone weights to a vertex if that vertex is not already being affected by said bone?

skinOps.setWeight takes forever because of having to select verts and bones
and set/replaceVertexWeights requires vert-relative bone index...
