CGTalk - Radiosity prob!!!

Hi! I have a prob with Luna Max 5 L058...
When i try to render a scene with radiosity options, i have an error msg and then 3ds is locked!

I have tried to install this prog on Win 98SE and Win ME but i receive same error.

Any suggestion?

(Ok, this is a beta version, but for a lot af my friends radiosity work good!)

I got no clue ut when I installed max I had alo to install a programm called sentinel. it is in your max root.
mybe tis will help.

Are your friends running it on 2000? or also on 98?

Of course, you should contact Discreet... being a Beta tester you will of course be on their (very select) list of users, and you'll know that bug reporting is part of the testing process that you agreed to undertake... they may be able to solve your problems.

Funny, I wasn't aware Discreet had public beta tests.....:p

All I can say is that MAX has never run on anything but NT-based systems. Properly, that is.

But I'm sure one of your contacts at the company can help you sort it out! :rolleyes:

Ok my friends...i have solved!

Prob was OS (grrrrrrrr)

I have tested it on Win XP and work great!
