i am a beginner in animation & multimedia industry...and one fine day there a friends who ask me... WHAT ACTUALLY IS 2D MODELING ???

all i heard about in my life, there is only 3D Modeling, 2D Animation, 2D Drawing & more...but i really not hearing n aware of what is 2D Modeling...

is that any defination of what is 2D Modeling...

its been a while since i was in art class but for drawing or whatever else 2d deals with, I think my art teacher refered to 2d modeling when he wanted to bring basic sketches etc. into more complex / detailed drawings

don't quote me on that
