Hello everyone, here is something I've been working on for about a month now that I started for fun with the intention of just making a model and posing him with no textures or pretty much anything else.. well, it turned out i ended up experimenting with some binding things and other stuff I can't remember right now and spent much more time than i wanted to on him. So here he is and I hope you guys enjoy it! Feel free to comment. I forgot to smooth a couple of things out so bare with me. .. and i do plan on making the whole lineup on my spare time.

Very cool, I loved thundercats as a kid.

Not bad at all! Did you see Nebelis's work?
I like the pose, and the lighting gives a kind of toon like feel.

oh yeah!! i saw his sword of omens... he did a beautiful job with it. I couldn't tell if it was real or not for a sec. Of course, the version I modeled was much simpler. I took the design straight off some screencaps in the series and did the best i could with what i found. Thanks for the comments guys!:D

Cool idea you had there, I watched Thundercats a bit when I was a kid too. But I was thinking that if you're going aiming for a really dramtic, eye catching cover for your comic you might want to zoom in a little and show your hero in a more dramtic pose. Just a thought. Nice work!

Saturdays at 8 that was the time and right in front of the tv was the place. Great work by the way.

Thanks a lot guys! Thundercats was definately something most of us grew up with and a total inspiration every time i think about it.
Jonny Newo - I totally agree bro, although I'm not really making a comic but just trying to present it a bit better than just a plain render with a black background. A friend bugged me a lot until i gave in and made it look like a comic book cover. So I just did a quick photoshop and it doesn't look too bad for not knowing anything about cover layouts and whatnot for comic books.. hehe.
tgn376j - good times, the funny part for me was watching it in Spanish where I grew up, thank they didn't change the names too much.. lion-o = leon-o.. it was weird.. but it loved it and still do.
Thanks for taking the time to post guys, I appreciate it. I am currently working on other characters of the series and might either start a new post or just continue on this one. Take care!

Hey everyone, here's another one of the Tcats i'm working on. Still needs some tweaking and some areas are not smooth. I plan and making the "good guys" lineup first and put them in a pose and smooth and render them at some point. Enjoy!:D

Hey man what's the poly count on him right now?
12-04-2003, 06:31 PM
He is about 5k at the moment. i plan on smoothing all of them once i'm done with modeling and posing them.

Those're great models btw.

wasn't Cheetara a bit taller? and less muscular?
at least that's how I remember her

Thanks for your comments guys, i really appreciate it!
As far as her being taller... it is possible, but will have to wait till i post a group shot to be able to tell who's taller than who.. and as far as the being too muscular.. yeah, i went a bit overboard cause i thought she would look sexier and would make a bit more sense for a super fast superhero.. dunno, i like it. But thanks for the comment.

Hello everyone, sorry for the long wait but here's a little update of what i've been working on. It doesnt seem like much cause i've had a hard time working on those treads and finally got em to work to a point where i can animate the tank any way i want... yes expect to see it doing a little dance soon! hehe, well I made a render with vector rendering in Maya just for the fun of it and it looks pretty nice. Thanks to Ken Norman for the suggestion! Although I'm not sure if I will keep it this way or not.. i guess i'll test it after i make a little animation and see both versions.
Well, here you go, have fun!
