I have an idea for a script: I'd like to slide just a few selected edges or even better, vertices. All current tools will only allow you to slide complete loops, but most of the time I'll only need to slide, say, the shin vertices but not the vertices on the back of the leg.

You think that's possible?

`well... I'm not hardcore maxscripter.. but i have a idear how to slide one edge (and you can maybe use the softselect also...)

Got some ideas of my own. Hopefully one of us will get something working, this is a useful idea:)

as frakke says, 3D Festival as we know it is no more. Strange as that sounds..
There is, however, rumours that next year it'll be back. Different company and everything, but same idea. But as far as I understand it'll skip this year :\
..if you want your 3d fix you go to Siggraph I guess.

Ahh, that's great. We have almost no 3D industry ind DK, so it would be a sad step in the wrong direction...

AAArrgg, your plugin is cool and all but could you get it to work with that Epoly plugin I downloaded from a guy here, Your plugin seems to have problems with his version, aparently his Epoly plugin version let's you extrude an edge in editable poly mode witch you cant do with the inbuilt vesion in max. Before I replaced the inbuilt Epoly with the one im using now, your plugin worked sweet as.

The only problem I have encountered is when I tried to undo a few times... it crashed max  it may have been a freak accident on my part altho. Other then that its a great script and I can see it saving me a lot of time.
