hello again !
i am currently working on my first spaceship attempt. the general design bases on a hellcat V starfighter but it`ll change soon. I just used the hellcat as reference for proportion and basic shape. My main intention is NOT to create an ultra realistic spaceship.. so plz be polite ;-).. it`s a kind of funproject and modeling exercise.

hi protoplasma, good start!
I must say Iīve never seen a "hellcat" before, but this one here is going to be a pretty nice spaceship.
I like the level of detail on the rear side, you could increase detail also on the front.
Maybe you can show the ship from a rear angle, im interested in how itīs propelled.
So far itīs cool modeling, keep it up!

you`re right.. there are bunches of work ahead with this baby...
but its a personal project so there is no pressure. I will try to keep up the LoD i started with at the wings.
ok here is an update: i added a cockpit and tweaked some minor things...

some additional words:
- the sustainer fits into the lower side of the shipbody
- there are hatches on the wingsside which can be opened and closed

tweaked the cockpit and removed some minor bugs...

new detailes were added... i am currently thinking about a kind of hood for those tubes... what would you say ?
