Attached are two images. One of sprite particles with smoke shapes I drew in Photoshop as the image. The other is the particles that have been rendered out and composited.
I do not know why but after I render the particles an outline appears around the smoke shape images, while in Maya and in the image itself none such appear. (Do no mind the opacity difference). I am using the Hardware Render Buffer with hardware alpha and the other usual setting for rendering particles, especially sprites.
I'm at a bit of a loss of how to fix this.
