Hello, people...
This is my latest work, which i finished today...
It's about a "cute little robot" and it's part of a commercial series of Siemens products. It was real fun working on it and also involved the creation of an HDRI probe map out of the live shooting environment. Lightwave and Digital Fusion all the way. Director is Niklas Hannsen (niklas.hansen@chello.se) (Sweden).

What part you said?

Except the story and the design studies for the final look, which were made by Chris "Xtronik" Koutroulos, i did all the rest.

Film shooting supervising, HDRI creation, cleaning plates (cause we used a hunging dummy in place of where the robot should be), stabillizing motion, 3D camera tracking, modeling, lighting, animation, rendering and last but not least final compositing in Digital Fusion...

Cheers...

I'd like to mention that i posted here only my work, which is the part of the spot that the robot is in. There is of course, the actual product part that i left out. Full credits for the product part of the spot go to Tony Sheldon (smiler.sheldon@lycos.com), an Inferno guru at P.P.V. (http://www.ppv.gr). He also provided me the most of the cleaned plates for the robot and he did some realy cool CG smoke work on the product part of the spot.
Hats off....

Cheers and thanks everybody...

Well...
I've made some minor changes to the last knitting shot. I re-render the last sequence with better antialiasing and motion blur, changed a bit the reflection properties for the head and remodel the threads on the knitting needles. Also, some minor compositing tweaks. You can check them at the first page...

Cheers,

I like this a lot. The robot is a good, simple form, and your animation isn't floaty at all. Very professional, very solid.

Ever consider doing tutorials?

I did came across that ad in TV but the merest possibility of it being a local greek production hadn't even begun to speculate in my mind. well done :)
