"If we were to conjure up an animated avatar for Jim Carrey then it probably wouldn't be a million miles from the cocksure racoon that will bear his voice in Over The Hedge. You won't get to see it until 2005 but Carrey will make his animated debut in the film, an environmentally aware adventure from Dreamworks. Being overseen by Sinbad director, Tim Johnson the film is currently in production and we received a full account straight from the horse's mouth"

Oh yeah...this looks to be goooood! Sounds like a good comic/story to start with, but with Jim Carrey (AND Gary Shandling...what a contrast, great team-up...matches the characters personalities) doing voices, it really sounds entertaining, funny, etc. I mean, good story, animation, art direction is all needed, but I also believe that the right actors can just punch it over the top. Look how they "lucked out" with Toy Story...

Hope they don't bite off more than they can chew, trying to emulate the human cartoon himself! ;) Can you say 'a bazillion facial morph targets'? :scream:

Thanks for the link, Roberto! :applause:
