trying to find a tutorial on the anisotropic settings for vray in maya (seen some for max, but not maya)

anyone have a link?

Im not a maya user but i would guess its not that much different compared to max?

well, I've seen some max tutorials, but the plugin is a bit different;

wish they were identical :)

When you should try to understand instead what an anisotropic is. It's basically just like any other shader except you can control their high lights and reflection to a certain direction. And I believe the settings inside the materials themselves should be quite the same regardless of software.

Yes it's Max. But just ignore the modelling part of it and look at the materials.
