Medium Sized Animation Studio locted in downtown Toronto looking for an IT / Sys Admin.
Applicant should have a minimum of 2 years experience setting up and maintaining
hardware and software for an NT and Macintosh based studio environment.
Applicant should be well experienced in systems networking, hardware/software
installation and maintenance, troubleshooting, daily/weekly backing up and
systems support. Experience with graphics applications, especially 3D software
is a definite asset.
This is a fulltime position and the applicant must be also be aware that he/she
must be willing to be made available at any time for emergency calls, possibly
on weeknights or weekends, as is sometimes required in a production environment.
We are looking for someone who will take the initiative upon themselves to make
the studio run as efficiently as possible. We are also looking for someone who
wishes to learn, expand and understand the technical aspects and requirements of
animation and work closely with the artists in order to provide the most
efficient environment possible.
