View Full Version : Maya 2012 SP2 progressive render mode?

Hey guys,

as some of you have found out that the progressive render mode with the ipr
will kill / crash maya 2012. In 2011 everything worked fine.

I have not tested the latest SP2 for maya 2012, maybe someone can
confirm or not confirm that the progressive mode with the IPR
is working now. I have read that Autodesk changed the API therefore
Maya 2012 crashed.

Would be cool to know they fixed that issue.
I really love the progressive mode and i just use it everytime in Maya 2011.

Just tried it, apon moving the camera or updating something it still crashes.

Thanks for you effort Jared!

God damn it! I really hoped that they had fixed it with the latest SP2.
That one really sucks. I just can't understand it.
But to be honest, we all should know now, how Autodesk "improves"
Maya from version to version. So embarassing....
