@oglu - i was just planning to sculpt most of it and add in extra feather geometries to make it look a lil scruffy..

Interesting concept, I'm curious to see the result. Just be careful and don't start adding the details before blocking out the main masses and planes, otherwise it can look too muddy and soft.
I've tried to sculpt feathers in another famous sculpting software (if you know what I mean ;)) and I tell it can be a pain in the bottom! My suggestion... use planes with a transparent texture, much easier and can be as good (or better) looking as sculpting it... just a friendly advice ;)

yaa i know... i was juzz doodling to see how the design is translating into 3d..and to figure out some design blind spots at the moment..
will add details in layers..no worries.. :)
feathers..ya i know..im wondering..why the hell did i put that in my design.. :P

the black and white concept looks cool. I'm not sure about the color of the eyes. But the magenta-green-brown color-combo, work well together.

I really like the first black and white concept. I'm bit worried about the pelvis area, looks huge compared with the head, is just me?

i like your very original concept, ya im with him, maybe pelvis to big or head to small? i dunno each to his own lol will be following this creature :)

something went wrong with my windows and display drivers as well..made my graphic card crash whenever i tried working in mudbox...anyways..i think the problem is solved and can start working on it again
