Good work, the girl is cute as hell, though I'm not overly fond of the creature design. But that's down to personal taste, as it's very well executed.

The animal is actually a monster in the Final Fantasy video game series, its called a Moogle. I took the liberty to draw him in my own style, scince the FF style is very cartoony-anime. You can say that i am a fan of the FF series but I was doing it to get my work on a FF website

Nice draws. I like the "Meg" hairdoo. In both pieces maybe you could suggest some ground for them to stand on, could be really simple shadows or texture near their feet. Anchor them in place. Cool stuff.
