Hi all-

Here is an animation I did using Houdini. It is entirely animated using either by driven channels, or by sin, cos, noise, random, etc functions.

The design of the mechanism is based off of Arthur Ganson's sweet real life kinetic sculpture. Here is a link to his site:

NICE!!! Wow... I like the detail that you went into with the animation and I love the small vibrations in the wire that you can REALY see in the last shot. :D

For most of the scenes it seems like the floor is moving and not the contraption... you might want to add some simple walls, to help the viewer get their bearings. Plus that would help bring up the contrast on the top half of the thing-a-ma-jig, which gets lost in the black background.
