View Full Version : Camera Cuts
paulselhi 11-16-2003, 12:15 AM Is it possible to have say 4 cameras in LW and have the scene keyed so that all four can be used at different times in the scene with a single render
For example in cinema 4d you simply key frame a camera at a specific point in the animation so you have mutiple views with only a single render and you simply set up each camera as desired
This way you get ot view from any of the cameras and can adjust their renderability to suit

I'd love this to be implanted. With this we could easily create the bullet time effect.
I'm afraid that till know it isn't.

Yes, but they all cost monney. :hmm:
I prefer to not buy stuff of the sort unless I need it for a commercial project or something.

I guess this answers the question of camera cuts but not of Bullet Time. It can switch cameras but it can't render one frame from every camera when the cameras are all in place during one frame (so you can have an object with motion blur but not get any motion blur from the cameras movement). :hmm:
Such a plugin could probably be created though.
I might have a go at it sometime. :)

As for the buleet time effect can you not just set the particle speed to zero at a particlular frame and / or use a sticky collision to freeze particles ?

It doesn't have to be particles, but the problem is having the items motion blur but not the cameras movments motion blur. :)
