Howdy all,
This is the product of the past two day's work. It's my first real attempt at using blendshapes for facial animation, and I'm pretty pleased with the way it came out.

It's done in Maya using about fifty blendshape targets and a simple rig for the head and jaw.

Check it out and tell me what you think. Rip it apart if you feel the need.

Gotta love casino.

Overall its prety nice. I would have liked to see a little more in the eyes, little more emotion than you get, but the lip sync is prety good.

Great job for your first real try! I'd say there isn't any life in the eyes though. They look pretty empty. Not enough going on in the brows. He could use quite a bit more head movement too. If you try saying his line moving your head this little, it feels pretty awkward. Always go further than you think you should go, and you'll probably hit what you were looking for. Just keep pushing him further. Let's see another version!
