View Full Version : Exporting an object from Max to Maya using Crossroads

Hey guys, I just got a hold of a program called Crossroads that is used to import/ export objects, such as charcters, from one 3D package to another. I successfully exported a charctar from 3D Max and imported it into Maya but my problem is that my charcter is now composed of tris, instead of quads. I took alot of time to model him in quads and now when I smooth him out he looks like crap becuase he's not composed of quads. Is there anybody out there who has managed to import an object into maya with Crossroads without this problem?
