Ok. Here my 3rd attempt at rigging my little dwarf character.

This time around I took a bit more time, and recorded a voice track as well.

Nice work Mike. I like the way you included the ik setup along with the rigging.

What tools are you using to create the videos?

Thanks, Mike, for allowing us to peek over your shoulder, so to speak, while you learn. I'm learning a lot watching you learn.:)

Get rid of that pesky camera
Click on camera in the itemlist and click on it till it sets to N
then click on the lock (grey) nect to the letters.

The new plugins you will enjoy is "IKchain"...adds a null to a bone
and auto setup IK. "Bone IK" plugin will be great for auto Stomach jiggle.

So do u like rigging in Messiah now?

Hi Mike,

you may also try my object replacements to get a camera that stays always in wireframe instead of that blue blocking thing... :-)

The bones are also helpfull because you can always see where your pitch-axis is...

I hope this helps - thanks for showing your progress

Also, you can turn off the custom default objects by renaming the default folders (messiah/modules/defaults/bones, camera, nulls). The next time messiah loads it won't see the folders you've renamed and goes back to the old style constant wireframe versions.
