Hey all, I'm guessing this has been mentioned a few times but wanted to get the opinion from some pros here. Originally I was trying to get into games as a character artist and was solely focused on that. Recently I've become a lot more open minded and am trying to be more of a generalist, from concepting through to dynamics, rendering, etc.
I wanted to find out if anyone has tried doing a collaborative project with others and how successful they were. I've been hoping to work on a small film myself, but I blow at animation (although I feel I can rig to a fairly good level,) so I was hoping to find someone to help out in that department. The tricky part in these projects is getting people to help out in their free time without the prospect of cash, more just for the fun of making something awesome :D (I've been working in Advertising a couple of years, so this isn't one of those "Lets make a feature film in 2 weeks" post XD ) Anyway it would be cool to hear other's thoughts on this and your experiences with working on a collaborative film project. Thanks :)
EDIT: Just wanted to say I'm looking for a team in London preferably, doing something with weekly meetups, etc. akin to the team behind Mac 'n' Cheese - ideally Maya users :D
