Last one from me, guess I am too lazy to

I made an overpaint
in this one on a 3d dragon wing test I
made earlier this week.
These are just quick tests to see what a more developed 3d scene would look like.

Alright folks, the previous thread was getting huge and so I decided to start a new speedpaint thread annually. Following the same idea an spirit of this thread ... let's get to painting! :arteest:
I logged into cgtalk for the first time in ages and I see the old thread is closed after almost 10 years (?!) Wow, time flies doesn't it? I'll see if I can add something for the new thread.

Thanks mmoir! I'm trying to get away from using references, as it kind of stops my imagination and I end up in a position where I'm just copying a photograph.

20min in Corel Painter. This is the first time I opened the program. I love how it mixes colors. It is more natural but at the same time more confusing then Photoshop.

This is more like hour/hour and a half. I took a hybrid approach and modeled basic geometry to get shadows and perspective right. Feel like I cheated, but when I look at it from different perspective - well.. I've created every pixel here...
