This is what my renders are looking like

It all renders fine until the very end of preview when it turns into this. The same outcome is happening to my batch renders. My render settings are pretty standard; IBL, Final Gather, NO contours and the scene too with mental ray lighting and polygonal geometry.
Has anybody come across anything like this or know of the cause??
