Ok quick question. I had to make some sewage pipes for a project so I created a path in Illustrator, imported it into lightwave, and tried to do a rail extrude on it. Now the problem was that it didn't allow me to do it ( I merged the polygons as well, "shift+Z"). The only work around I found was to kill the polygons and create the paths from points or with the bezier tool to create the curve. I don't know if I was doing something wrong or does LW allow you to use illutrator paths for rail extrudes? Second question, Does LW allow you to edit the path/object? For example, in Carrrara studio, you can import an illustrator path into the program, and a flat polygon object to create a pipes. You are still able to edit how thick or thin the pipe is, regardless of its length, shape or form through little bezier handles. Is there a similar way to do this in LW or it doesn't exist in the program. Thanks in advance.
