View Full Version : brazil Illumination
asylum24 11-13-2003, 10:36 PM Ok so I have a test verson of brazil(has the header and footer things that overlap the render) and I was wondering is there a way to make the self-illumination brighter? like I have it at 100% and want/need it to be brighter... is there a way to do so?

if you drop an output map into the diffuse slot of your material and then change the rgb multiplier, it will effectively make the material brighter in the eyes of brazil's GI calculations
note that using this method for creating area lights is slow because it requires quite a few extra samples to get a smooth solution
