Hey just wondering how to do that cool white sorta scene, where you see just a model or somthing and it's got a bit of a shadow too and everything else is crisp white. I can't seem to figure it out.

This was an attempt I did a while ago. I used a plane and 'white' in the world controls, with mist, but it's still not the effect I want. There should be no grey at all from the plane. Just model and shadow.

What you need is a GI-Dome setup, or a real GI Renderer (Yafray qualyfies as real Global Ilumination/GI).

If you go for the GI Dome remember to use a Ico-Sphere to mount the spotlights... people that used a UV-Sphere complained about it producing bad results.

In the material of the plane press the button "OnlyShadows" and lower its "Alpha" value.

It worked for me. :thumbsup:

I used Kah's technique, but I'm sure the other guy's ways are more proper.
