View Full Version : SSS skin shader passes OpenExr
pseudopod 12-29-2011, 12:54 AM I am using Maya 2011 with a subsurface scattering shader on my character. Is there a way to render Open Exr files with multiple passes imbedded in the one render file?
If so, how can this be done?
Thanks!

This should answer the part about rendering to a single file

Rendering sss to a pass, im not sure what the pass is called. You could try making a second layer and render that one out separately.
Mentalcore has a demo right now which has passes for sss, epidermal, subdermal, back.
