I seriously doubt there will be a sequel\prequel. The story has been told they should move on.

No no, not, the story....but more... A story has been told in the matrix universe.

Much more to come, including comic books, and other media.

They will make another film base on the matrix universe, Maybe not now but later. It was great watching the two seqeuls but nothing will beat the first one.

As much as I would like to believe this, I dont believe the species known as "Studios Executivus" can resist such a large amount of $$$.

I am one of the few that didn't really like the first Matrix all that much.

A lot of people went ape dung over bullet time, and the panorama camera set up, but It wasn't that impressive to me. I had seen it all before. Back then I was still comparing all CG movies to the impact that T2 had on me, and the first Matrix didn't really do it. I like it now, but I wasn't impressed at the time. As I said before I do like the original Matrix, but I must say I like the sequels much better.:)

Why would you like to believe it?

So you didn't enjoy and matrix movies or sequels, if that were true, the worst thing you could do is not go see it, and not talk about it, there fore not giving the franchise any money or reputation.

Even negative publicity is still publicity (there is no such thing as bad press), and if people feel very strongly at how crap it was, that's a huge bonus, because it's still better then just ignoring it all together.

My point exactly would be people bitch at how they hated reloaded, but then went to see Revolutions....why? if they hated it why pay to see more of it......because truth of the matter is, the movies are different and people want to see sonething different, but some people just can't accept change, and those people shouldn't be aloud to watch movies in the first place or do anything creative for that matter /opinion :)

The only extensions I know of are a 12-comic series by different artists, and the online game. There is a sample of the comic on the Revolutions soundtrack.
