View Full Version : From Fireworks into Photoshop - possible?

Is it possible to make something in Fireworks, and save it as a png or something and open it in photoshop, keeping the layers?

I've got a png file of a design and a client wants it in psd form, but I can't find anyway to keep the individual layers, except copying and pasting each individual part of the design.

Please, someone help me...:blush:

Umm... I've never actually tested this but I seem to recall *.tif asking me about saving in layers. This way you could probably transfer the file across.

You can load .png files right into Photoshop 7, but be warned: you lose transparency and vector capabilities.
