View Full Version : Find Target to build an object, from one end to the other?

Hi guys, sorry if this is a silly question.

I have some particles flying at an object using Find Target, as they reach it they stop and as such build up the object. However, they just pick a random place to dock, whereas I'd like them to start, for example, on the left, and then move across the object horizontally, so that the object is built from one side to the other (this could maybe be controlled by particle age - first created move to one side, last to the other?). As an added bonus it would be great to be able to set spacing for where they should go... Or even have one particle dock to each vertex?

Any guidance is much appreciated, thanks for reading.

Search here for "Script Vector" there are a ton of posts about it. IIRC I may have posted about exactly what you are asking.
