Actually, I need help with this pic... I can see a lot room of improvement but I just don't know what to do with it....

Constructive suggestions are warmly welcome.

I like your picture, funnny idea, and the two characters are very nice, along with the moon and the clouds.

One little thing I notice is your perspective is slightly off. The Buildings in the background imply a horizon at a certain level below the bar the two sit on. Though, in the picture, the bar is drawn as seen from slightly above.

And that thing in the foreground . . . it just looks like Mickey Mouse mouse to me . . . secretly eying the two. . . slightly distracting . . . not sure whether this was intended either . . .

Nice pic, really in keeping with the kingdom hearts universe

and it possibly IS mickey mouse, seeing as kingdom hearts is a joint thing between square-enix and Disney

my suggestions:

Things are a bit too blurry. I know some of it is a depth of field effect, but I would make some of the buildings under them crisper. A little bit more detail on the buildings would make them more believeable as well.
On the buildings directly below the kids, the light source looks like its coming from the right, when it should be coming from directly in front (the moon).
Pop out the edge light on the buildings as well.
Seems like there are 3 'layers' of buildings in the scene. I would add another one or two.
The features of the heart shaped moon need to be cleaner and more moon like. At first I couldn't tell if it was a moon or use of the cloud filter in photoshop.
I would also put more stuff on the top have of the scene. cloud wisps, birds, witches, etc. That's alot of open space the moon is occupying. Not too much stuff, as it would crowd the moon. Just a bit, to give the piece more depth and interest. cloud wisps could be used to guide the viewers eye around the piece.

Good job overall. Keep it up!

Oh... hehe unfortunately I do not know kingdom hearts universe. Anyway, on second thought, this Mickey gives the whole image a very interesting twist

Speaking of the light, I think this blue light source to the right is not all that off. We do not know what is there, perhaps it is something reflecting blue light. The good thing about this light is that it gives the buildings some shape. There is another thing: I think the bar the two are sitting on should not get any light from the moon on the side facing us. It faces the opposite direction of the moon, so it should lie in shadow.

**edit: One more thing: To me the image looks almost too colourful. I'd try taking out all the green from the windows of the houses.
