This is my favorite Street Fighter III character, Ibuki, created for a portfolio piece. It's done in 3d studio max and rigged with character studio. 1959 triangles.

Great low poly work. great character style and poses my only crit is that her heel looks a little washed out color wise, a little too bright. but other than that super stuff there. great job man keep up the good work.....:buttrock:

Wow! This is great, especially considering the low number of polys.

I'm a HUGE SFighter fan, and can really imagine selecting her through the game and kicking ass in an arcade!

Nice job!

Nice job on the mesh and textures. The model looks really clean and well thought out and the textures make the model look alot higher res than it is. The poses are great too. good job all round:thumbsup:

Nice finger and facial details.
I like it a lot!
How big are your texture maps? And would you care to post an image of them?

Cheers!

7Hour, heres a closeup of the face

Njen, here are the textures maps. I left some room in there to put in her throwing knives sometime in the future. i would like to model another SF character and do a short animation if i ever get enough motivation.

Looks great !

But there are some 5 vertex polygons on the legs... I'm not a expert but... In a game models you must have maximum 4 vertex polys... i'm right ?

But if i am... i think it's a too big mistake compared to your overall skill... I think i confused a line on the texture of her trousers and a edge

Keiyentai, Iori is definitely an awesome character. possibly....

Ti Ki, im not exactly sure what you mean, though i think youre talking about the quads (4 vertex polygons). It never mattered in game engines that ive used to have more than 4. In any case, it wouldnt be a problem to just select all the edges and make them visible, so they would all be 3 vertex polygons (tris). Hope i understood you correctly.

It's just a guideline for clear meshes. Not a rule. Doesn't really matter... all tris in the end anyway.

Ok. :wavey:
I always thought that you must use ONLY 4 vertex polygons maximum...

Great work! :applause:

mmm whenever I see a good Low poly model I always wish that there was a customisable 3D fighting game for PC... sort of like Mugen, but with importable 3d characters instead of sprites...  (/me goes off on a tangent)
