Does anybody know what is causing my AO render to give this result. My character model looks “shiny” in a sense and I’m getting some really dark areas in only certain corners. I’m using the mental ray shader with ambient occ applied to the surface tab. I’ve been playing around with the max distance, samples, and spread but to no avail. So now I turn to the community for help.
I’m using Max 2010 (64 bit), thanks.
