his head could be a bit bigger. and perhaps his calf would be hidden behind more of his leg, rathe than in front, with his leg in that position.

Very nicely done. Your instripration must indeed be the way you pictured Musahi in the novel. I agree with wgeddes about his head being a touch too small. The only other thing that I will add is his tabi seem to be more winkled then I would expect.

Good image.

Nice work... the sword looks very short though?

the sword is fine, his head really is a bit too small in relation though.

This is very good! take no offence, but I prefere the uncolored version of it!

just not a very usual samurai pose I gess. did you get to see KillBill? check it out for some fighting stances. they make some cool ones.

Cheers,

Kazuya Mochu

ok, first of all, wonderfull work,

one thing that bothers me though (not the size of the head, looks normal to me)

but the front leg, the knee looks dislocated, like, the (front part of the) thigh should be over the calf and the lower leg a bit more backwards, blah, hard to explain, i hope you get what i mean, great work nonetheless man,...

I love the blue drawing, it's great!!!!!

The coloured one is really cool too, but i was thinking that maybe it could use some colour adjustment? my be a colour adjustment layer? solid colour, hue saturation, colour balance?
