Ok here is the problem.
I have made a head like all others and with shag:hair I have put eyebrowns on the char.
The idea is to make the skull of a person spin around and fade into a skined version and then for the hair to fade in on the char.
The problem is that the light that reflects on the eyebrown falshes, even thou the eyebown is invisible. The funny part is the eyebrown to the chars left flashes more than the one to the right.
Even thou it is the same material.
The material on the hair is a standard diff map, crumble4.jpg that comes with max.
This continue thru out the whole animation. when its viseble as well as when it is inviseble.
I have tried to use visibility tracks to make the eyebrowns totaly inviseble to the render, draging down the spec and glos lvl to 0 as well as the opacity. But it still goes on flashing like there was a broken light next to it...
The light in the sceen are 3 omnis and one target spot. (only the spot castes shadows)
But as the rest of the modell doesn't flash the light can't be the problem as far as I can see. Also the spining effect is made with a camera that spins around the modell as for the light they are in the same position all the time.
The other hair on the char, the "hair hair" and the beard(shag:fur) for example doesn't flash.
Some system specs: 1,3 Ghz, Nivida Gforce2, 256 Mb ram, 3dsMax5.1, shag:hair version 1.01.17
Plz help me! I'm quite desperate and I will try just about anything.
