View Full Version : Modeling Charlene
buzzlightyr 11-11-2003, 11:41 AM This model was created to help try and improve my character anatomy and modeling skills within Max, its my first full high poly character and post here, the feet and hands still need major tweaking but this spare time project has been going on far to long, so I started to texture her let me know what you all think.
Question: When creating a texture what type of lighting should I use in my scene?

Dude that girl is like 15/16
looks good so far for a first high polly model..
Can't help with the texture but you should work more on the defenision around the eye.. pushing the vertex point at the top of the eyelid a bit more back. And the eyebrow more forward
Keep up the good work

Naa maybe she is 17-19 ;)
Usually it is a bad idea to start modeling you girlfriend (?) ;)
Do that if you are the uber modeler, than you might have a change of satisfing her...
Anyways... it really still has be be improved a lot, but it is not a bad start.
Have a look at the wireframe-depot over at
www.metagons.com
That should help you, and maybe even save your relationship :p

McSpirit Not totally sure what you mean, when you say pull the eye lids back, if I pull them back they will go into her eye balls

First try using shag hair, what do you think?
Ill trade Gold Bars for any shag hair, tuts, links, tips or hints http://www.motionpalette.com/picx/CGTalk/PaintHead_Test5a.jpg
Another question how long is a shot in film terms? (how many frames)

Good start. I think that collar bone looks very odd. It looks to thin and pinched. Also, the distance between the legs (you know, where the bearded clam is) seems to be a little close together.
As far as shag hair goes, never used it, sorry.
