Greetings all,

This is an interactive project done by some friends and I. It's a side-scrolling shooter featuring one level of play against four types of enemies.
I wasn't sure where to post this, though the demo is beatable the first level boss isn't operational and the game ends when the end of the stage is reached. There are numerous tweaks to be made to both enemies and gameplay.
However due to time constraints there probably won't be a whole lot more work done on this project at this time, which is why I decided to post it in the completed projects section.

(the demo uses the Virtools Player, which is only supported by Windows, I appologize for those unable to try it out)

Can't play the demo, sitting on a mac right now, the pictures look.. a bit simple but ok. I would have done the trees in a different way but those are pretty cool actually! I wanna make a game too :cool:

Some more info on the project.

It began as a physics test by a Matthew Wegner of Flashbang Studios (http://devlab.flashbangstudios.biz/).

The test was done using the Virtools Development toolset in a couple days. I found the initial test to be quite fun, so I created the majority of the artwork for it over the course of about 24 hours.
What started as a quick fun project was given some polish for the 2004 IGF, with some simple weapons and enemy AI.
A week or so of clearing up bugs, and some small refinement on the level geometry for physics reasons brought us the current version.

It's a Windows only installer. I'm really sorry about that, but it's all the player supports!
