CGTalk - Unnatural big edges?!

Once again a really stupid question:). All help is appreciated.
For some reason when I switch to non shaded wireframe mode in any viewport the lines become very thick, same with the grid lines. It's like I'm in a kiddy program or something.
Any Ideas?

is antialiasing on for wireframe mode?

Or, just on in your OpenGL/Direct 3D Card's settings.
