View Full Version : Custom shape deselection callback

Hello everyone,

I have a custom node built of multiple components. When the user selects some of them, they get highlighted. The problem is, if he just clicks someplace else in the viewport, the components remain highlighted.
I was wondering if there is a way to let the shape know it was deselected.

Using a scriptJob(), or something to that sort, maybe you can respond to click event inside the viewport, and respond by clearing the selection.
If there isn't such a thing, maybe you could envelop your environment in a huge sphere or a cube that would be transparent, but still selectable, and would catch mouse clicks.
