hi everyone here:
i'm a df4 user, i want to do this effect(see pic), but i quite dont know how to begin, anyone here can give me some clue?

Go to www.komkomdoorn.com and grab the free plugins. The one in particular you are looking for is called Vlam. It will generate a pile of fractal type effects.

After that, apply a small blur, and then a glow, adjusting to what you need.

It could also be done with a DF particle system, but it would take some serious knowledge to get it to look right.
